(Unofficial) 2030 F1 concept

Following the trend of f1 cars getting bigger and changing its identity on engine and chassis side have FIA started with the change in 2026 toward the more nimble and simple cars and that make the new aim from FIA with future generations clear. For 2030s will the cars continue the trend with being smaller and lighter, and even big changes on engine side with a v8 hybrid.

This is a realistic representation of what the 2030/31 regulations from packaging, safety and using the aerodynamic philosophy's FIA are aiming for with modern f1 and close racing.
The car is featuring a 100mm shorter maximum wheel base but the 1900mm width remains and the car include the 16 inch rims that was ment to be used for 2026. The aerodynamics have a complete redesign with a philosophy inspired by late 2000s but with less small elements and usage of a more refined and strict inwash bargeboard for minimised risk of dirty outwash. The rear wing is lower and have bigger surface aria, the front wing have 00s based profiles and endplate, and both front and rear keep the active airo.
Other big aerodynamic changes are, slightly higher nose and higher chassis, shorter sidepods, side outlets on the underside of the sidepod, 00s sidepod side winglet and lastly it have a simplified and shorter but extended center diffuser similar to 90s and 00s.

Big potential changes to the engine with a 2.4L v8 together with 84/16 (840hp/160hp) ICE and ERS hybrid split with 100% sustainable fule.
The car would need a minimal turbo to achieve the 840hp with a smaller fuel consumption and that would lead to lower RPM then they had in late 00s and early 10s.
The maximum fuel amount would be around 115 to 120kg and the battery would remain 4MJ.
